Members of the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FSB) welcomed four new members at the December 1 quarterly meeting, held in Washington, DC: Lisa Caputo, Mark Brzezinski, Mark Alexander and Shelby Lewis. The Board's business meeting included the election of FSB officers for 2011. Anita McBride was re-elected Chair and Shelby Lewis was elected Vice Chair.
The Board heard presentations made by Assistant Secretary for Educational and Cultural Affairs Ann Stock, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Academic Programs Alina L. Romanowski and Director of the Office of Academic Exchanges. A highlight of the meeting was a panel presentation by grantees and an alumna of the Distinguished Teacher Program.
