The quarterly meeting of the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FSB) was held in Washington, DC, on September 8 and 9, 2010.

Members of the Board attended a reception hosted by Panamanian Ambassador to the United States Jaime Alemán in honor of the FSB, Assistant Secretary Ann Stock and students and alumni of the U.S. - Panama Fulbright Program.

A highlight of the meeting included a presentation by ECA Assistant Secretary Ann Stock who was recently confirmed. The FSB also heard from Alina Romanowski, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Academic Programs; the Director of Office of Academic Exchange Programs; and the Senior Advisor for Communications.

In addition to hearing from a panel of U.S. and Panamanian Fulbright alumni and Humphrey fellows, the FSB also heard from the Executive Director of the Council for International Exchange of Scholars.
