Professional Fellows

Professoinal Fellows 2011.

2011 Professional Fellows.

The Professional Fellows Program brings emerging leaders from around the world to the United States for intensive fellowships designed to broaden their professional expertise.

Participants are placed in public and private organizations across the United States to learn first-hand how issues in their field are addressed. Through their fellowships participants develop a deep understanding of American society. The program also gives American participants the opportunity to take part in official follow-on programs overseas, in conjunction with the fellows they hosted in the United States. In 2012, an estimated 450 participants from 50 countries will come in both the spring and fall for programs focusing on entrepreneurial development, women’s empowerment, and the legislative process. Approximately 300 American participants will then take part in the follow-on exchange program overseas.
