| Solid ceramic figurines representing women with broad torsos and thighs, and small virtually flat breasts. These are portrayed in a sitting or standing position. Eyes and mouth are typically represented by small holes jabbed into the clay. While the bodies have very little detail, elaborate coiffures are commonly shown. Clay often cream to white but also can be red to brown. | |
