Organization
of the Images
The organization of the image
collection is by material, type of object, and period or date. Images of
objects that illustrate some of the seven major categories are provided
above. Each Index List Section has one or more pages of thumbnail images.
Each thumbnail image on the thumbnail page is linked to an information
page and a full size image of the artifact. The image database may also
be searched by keyword.

The images in the database were generously
provided by several sources. Because time is of the essence, the source
of individual images is not currently acknowledged. As time
permits, the source of images will be added. Please note, however, the photographs
are or may be subject to copyright and any unlawful reproduction, distribution,
adaptation or display may be subject to civil or criminal penalties.
