Engraved inscriptions often found in funerary contexts and thin metal sheets with engraved or impressed designs often used as attachments to furniture. Approximate date: 7th c. B.C. to 4th c. A.D.

This example is an inscribed thin gold sheet from a funerary tumulus. The inscription is in Greek. It is a vademecum to guide the deceased in his or her voyage to the afterworld.
