Date: 100-700 A.D. Both positive and negative slip-painting is found, generally in colors of black, cream and red. Shapes are sculptural, especially ceremonial jars known as ‘Paccha' which have an elaborate outlet to serve a liquid. Painted decoration usually depicts groups of religious or mythical personages.
