Date: 900-1500 A.D. Surface decoration is usually black or red monochrome slip. Shapes include fish, birds, animals, fruit, people, and architectural forms. Most are made in molds. A common form has a globular bodies with a stirrup spout and a small bird or monkey at the base of the neck. Size ranges from 30-40 cm. in height.
