The U.S.-Russia Experts Forum (Forum) provides U.S. and Russian experts fellowships to conduct intensive dialogue and research regarding issues that influence U.S.-Russia relationship as well as their relationship to the broader international community. While at a U.S. institution, Russian participants will work closely with U.S. counterparts to conduct their own research as well as to observe first-hand how U.S. policies are influenced, formulated and finally implemented. Upon completion of their two-month fellowships, the participants will conduct conferences where they will present their research and set an agenda for their implementation. Eight (8) fellowships will be awarded in 2008. Recruitment, selection and placement are administered through a cooperative agreement with the International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX).
