Study of the U.S. Institutes for Student Leaders

 


Student Leader Institutes promote a better understanding of the U.S. abroad and help to develop future world leaders.

These Institutes explore the principles of democracy and fundamental American values such as individual rights, freedom of expression, pluralism and tolerance, and volunteerism. Participants have the opportunity to meet their American peers, engage in local community and service activities, and learn about the United States.

Current Student Leader Institutes include:

Student Leader Institutes typically take place during the months of June, July, and August, with the exception of the Institutes for Argentina, Chile, Uruguay; Bolivia, Peru; Brazil; and Korea which occur in January and February.


Global Student Leader Institutes are hosted by a consortia of universities and colleges under the administration of: The Academy for Educational Development
