EducationUSA
works with partner organizations such as NAFSA:
Association of International Educators to strengthen the services
that support international students and scholars on U.S. campuses. These
efforts include professional development and training for foreign student
advisers, admissions personnel, and other staff at U.S. universities and
colleges. Academy for International Education
The Academy for International Education provides an opportunity to share knowledge, expertise, and leadership within the international education community through multi-faceted training and networking. The academy will cultivate and mentor a new generation of international education specialists who will further advance the agenda of international education for a global community.
Collaborative Training Grants (CTG)
This program provides grant awards up to $15,000 for the development and implementation of innovative international education training activities and/or products that sensitize U.S. campuses and their respective communities to the needs of students from Arabic-speaking countries.
Advisers' Professional Partnership Program (APPP)
The Advisers' Professional Partnership Program (APPP) sponsors visits to EducationUSA advising centers for up to 10 U.S.-based international educators to improve their understanding of the role and work of EducationUSA advisers and strengthen ties between advisers and U.S.-based international educators and their home institutions.
