Essential Bibliography

The Essential Bibliography (PDF) is an annotated list of key commercial references and teaching resources related to the professional development of teachers of English as a foreign language.  The list is divided into thirty-five categories, including language teaching methodology, computer-assisted language learning, teaching younger learners, and many more.  The Bibliography also features a “Quick Price List” section, which lists prioritized recommended titles and prices, so that English Language Teaching professionals can purchase books based on interest, importance and cost.

The titles included in the bibliography were selected by the author of the document and do not constitute an endorsement by the Department of State.
