About the Contest

The grand prize winners of the 2nd annual ExchangesConnect video contest will be announced March 2, 2010. Responding to the theme, "Change Your Climate, Change Our World," entrants illustrated in 2 minute videos what they or someone they know is doing to make their community a better place.

The grand prizes are two-week long, all-expense-paid exchange programs.

What is ExchangesConnect?

ExchangesConnect is an international social network that promotes mutual understanding among youth and adults by highlighting cultures, commonalities, and exchange program experiences through user-generated content and multimedia tools like forums, blogs, photos, and videos.The social network is maintained by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The Bureau's overall mission is to increase mutual understanding between people of the United States and people of other countries by means of educational and cultural exchange.
