Educational Seminars for Educational Administrators

At-a-Glance

The Educational Seminars provide international elementary and secondary school administrators with opportunities to improve their understanding of U.S. educational practices and approaches. Currently, the program only operates between Brazil and the U.S.  The program has a 3-week component in the U.S. in the fall followed by a two-week long hosting component in Brazil the following summer.

Eligibility and Application Overview

Program is open to U.S. and Brazilian school superintendents and K-12 principals/assistant principals/directors.

Brazil participants are selected by the National Council of State Secretaries of Education (CONSED).  No other countries are sending participants for Educational Seminars at this time.

Educational Seminars: Brazil Administrator Exchange Program
The Brazil Administrator Exchange Program is a two-way exchange that provides the opportunity for U.S. and Brazilian secondary school administrators to work together on issues of mutual interest to their communities, schools and students.

The three-week hosting and three-week travel components may focus on areas of interest such as: personnel administration, school management, instruction, curriculum development, student affairs, and/or educational policy.
