Throughout November 2012, YES and YES Abroad Program Alumni participated in a video call-to-action-- leveraging technology to stay connected and engaged with one another around the world. Alumni in over 40 countries were asked to submit short videos answering the question, “What does YES mean to you” in honor of the 10th Anniversary of the Kennedy-Lugar YES Program. This video headlined the virtual kick-off party, which occurred on December 12, 2012 across a variety of social media platforms. The virtual celebration allowed YES Alumni from more than 20 countries to transcend geographical barriers and share their most memorable experiences from their international exchange.
