NSLI: High School Students

Intensive Summer Language Institutes for High School
This program provides U.S. high school students the opportunity to study critical foreign languages abroad in intensive six- to eight-week summer institutes. In 2006, 46 American students studied Chinese and Arabic in Beijing, Amman and Cairo. In 2007, the program expanded to 130 American students studying in China, Egypt, Jordan, and Morocco, with plans to increase the number of students in 2008.
