Community College Initiative Program
Provides opportunities for individuals from select countries to develop leadership, professional skills and English language proficiency, while studying at a community college in the United States.
Edmund S. Muskie Graduate Fellowship Program
Fellowships for Master’s degree-level study to emerging leaders from Eurasia for study in the United States.
English Access Microscholarship Program
English language skills provided to talented 14–18 year-old students from disadvantaged sectors through after-school classes and intensive summer sessions.
Fulbright Program
Foreign graduate students, young professionals, professors, scholars and artists from abroad study, conduct research, and/or teach their native language in the United States.
Global Undergraduate Exchange Program
Provides one semester and academic year scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students from underrepresented sectors in East Asia, Eurasia and Central Asia, the Near East and South Asia and the Western Hemisphere.
Study of the United States Institutes for Student Leaders
Five-to-six-week academic programs for foreign undergraduate leaders, hosted by U.S. academic institutions.
For U.S. Participants
Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program
Provides scholarships to U.S. undergraduates with financial need for study abroad, including students from diverse backgrounds and students going to non-traditional study abroad destinations.
Critical Language Enhancement Award
Provides funding to eligible Fulbright U.S. Student Program Grantees who intend to use a critical languages for their Fulbright project.
Critical Language Scholarship Program
Provides overseas foreign language instruction and cultural enrichment experiences in 13 critical need languages for U.S. students in higher education.
Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) Program
Places recent college graduates and young professionals as English teaching assistants in primary and secondary schools or universities overseas.
Fulbright Program
Provides students with Bachelor's degrees in most fields the opportunity to study, conduct research, and/or assist English teaching abroad.
