The Educational Seminars provide K-12 school teachers and administrators with opportunities to improve their understanding of international educational practices and approaches.
Current seminars for U.S. educators are offered in Brazil, China, and India. Program dates and details vary by country. Please check back for new educational seminar dates or visit the American Councils website for details.

2-6 WeeksEligibility and Application Overview
All U.S. applicants must be:
- A U.S. citizen;
- Full-time K-12 educators with three or more years of administration or classroom experience in English, science, social studies, or math.
Application dates vary by country and will be listed as educational seminars are open.

Country-Specific Information
All applicants must be:
- A U.S. citizen
- Full-time K-12 school administrator (principal, assistant principal, superintendent) with 3 or more years of experience
- Be able to host up to three administrative counterparts and a Portuguese interpreter in home community and school (housed in a hotel) for three weeks
