The Fulbright Classroom Teacher Exchange provides opportunities for primary and secondary teachers to exchange positions with colleagues in other countries. The participants contribute to mutual understanding by bringing international knowledge and perspectives to the United States and foreign classrooms, schools and communities.
Full-time U.S. teachers can take part in either a year-long or semester-long direct exchange with a counterpart in one of the following countries: Czech Republic, France, Hungary, India, Mexico, or United Kingdom.

Country-Specific Information
The language of instruction is English; fluency in Czech is not required.
U.S. teachers may participate in the Fulbright Teacher Classroom Exchange in Czech Republic for one academic year. The program generally runs September through June. It includes an orientation workshop in Prague and a mid-year conference.
