Ambassador English meets new YES students.

The first group of 15 Youth Exchange and Study (YES) students from Bosnia and Herzegovina met each other at their pre-departure orientation on June 30-July 3 in Sarajevo. The finalists, who arrive in the U.S. in August, attended an intensive orientation where they received useful information regarding their academic year in the United States. U.S. Ambassador Charles English met the YES students when they arrived at the Embassy for their visa interviews. The Ambassador encouraged the students to make the most of their academic year in the United States, so they can bring back home more knowledge and cultural understanding. The Ambassador was so impressed with the energy of the students that he invited them to the Embassy's 4th of July celebration.
