In July, Ambassador McEldowney met with and welcomed seven Bulgarian high school students who will participate in the Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program. Over 450 students applied to the YES program in Bulgaria’s first year participating. The students come from a variety of cities throughout Bulgaria, and were chosen based on a merit-based, multi-step selection process.
