A-SMYLE Student Milena Milosavljevic Meets with Serbia President Boris Tadic

A-SMYLE student Milena Milosavljevic, one of 49 high school students spending an academic year in the United States, living with an American host family and attending high school, had the opportunity to meet Serbia President Boris Tadic during his visit to Cleveland, Ohio on September 21. President Tadic visited the Serbian Cultural Gardens with Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson, while in Ohio for talks with Governor Ted Strickland, U.S. Senator George Voinovich, and U.S. Representative Dennis Kucinich. Milena was one of approximately 100 people who were on hand to greet President Tadic during his stroll at the Cultural Gardens. The leadership development, civic education, and community service activities Milena participates in during her U.S. program are preparing her to be a future leader of her country.
