An Introduction to the 2014 Center Stage Tour!

video

In 2014, Center Stage invited seven dynamic arts ensembles from Morocco, Pakistan, and Vietnam to tour the United States and share their country’s culture through music and dance. Center Stage builds lasting ties between communities here and abroad, between Ho Chi Minh City and Birmingham, Alabama, between Casablanca and Seattle, and  between Peshawar and New York City.

Center Stage has reached more than 85,000 Americans in 70 communities, 32 states, and Washington, D.C. The international artists teach workshops, visit schools, and collaborate with American artists. Center Stage is an opportunity for U.S. communities and international artists from a diversity of genres and traditions to connect and to learn from each other along the way.

In 2016, Center Stage will feature artists from Algeria and Tanzania. Be a part of Center Stage, bringing artists from around the world to your community.
