   We are pleased to announce Meder Mukai Uulu, an American Councils-placed FLEX Student from Kyrgyzstan, as the March 2018 Student of the Month.

   Binazir and her host family are very active in the community. Binazir has been described as a "volunteering fanatic."

3. FLEX Student of the Month – January 2018

   We are pleased to announce Kateryna “Kate” Falchyyan, an ASSE-placed FLEX Student from Ukraine, hosted in Alabama, as the January 2018 Student of the Month

4. FLEX Student of the Month — December 2013

   Tatia Rtveladze, an ASSE student from Georgia and active volunteer in her host community, gave nine presentations, including performances of Georgian folk dances, during International Educational Week (IEW).

5. FLEX Student of the Month –April 2016

   Davit, a States’ 4-H placed Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) student from Georgia, always has a positive attitude and smile for everyone around him. He is eager to learn and proudly represents his home country.

6. YES Students of the Month – March 2017

   March YES Student of the Month Karine Alkhatib from Lebanon, placed by PAX in Mabel Minnesota is an A+ student at Mabel-Canton High School, and that is only the beginning of her long list of accomplishments.

7. FLEX Student of the Month – February 2018

   We are pleased to announce Madina Arapova, a World Link placed FLEX Student from Kazakhstan, hosted in California, as the February 2018 Student of the Month.

8. FLEX Student of the Month – December 2014

   Liza, a Future Leaders Exchange student from Russia, has clocked an impressive 100 hours of community service during her three and a half months in her host community along with participating in many clubs and activities.

9. FLEX Student of the Month – April 2014

   Vera Kalinina, a States’ 4-H FLEX student from Russia, made a major impact on her host community and the state of Oregon through her informative presentations about Russian civil society and culture and volunteer activities.

10. Building a Future Through Technology

    Sura Mubarak is a true TechGirl—developing a robotics project to help people with hand disabilities control a computer and starting a volunteering organization. Sura knew that in order to pursue her love of robotics, a trip to the United States was in her future.
