Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange & Study (YES)
The YES program provides scholarships for high school students (ages 15-17 years) from countries with significant Muslim populations to spend up to one academic year in the United States. Students live with host families, attend high school, engage in activities to learn about American society and values, acquire leadership skills, and educate Americans about their countries and cultures. Approximately 900 students travel to the United States each year.
Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program
Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program sends select U.S. primary and secondary school teachers abroad for three to six months and brings international teachers to the United States for a semester. Participants pursue individual projects, conduct research, take courses for professional development and lead master classes or seminars for teachers and students.
Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program
The Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program for Iraqi and U.S. high school students, Iraqi undergraduate students, and Iraqi adult mentors is pleased to extend this fully-funded scholarship opportunity to talented and dedicated young leaders and adult educators from Iraq and the United States to apply for a summer leadership program in the United States.
Tunisia Community College Scholarship Program
The Tunisia Community College Scholarship Program (TCCSP), part of the Department of State’s Thomas Jefferson Scholarships, offers full, one-year scholarships for young Tunisians studying at technical schools (ISETs) in Tunisia. The program provides participants with a deeper understanding of American culture and new globally applicable skills and expertise to help them contribute to the economic growth and development of their country.
