1. English Language Fellow Program - Eligibility & Application

   Through the English Language Fellow Program (EL Fellow) highly qualified U.S. educators in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) participate in 10-month-long fellowships at academic institutions throughout the world. This program is an English For All initiative.

2. Fortune- U.S. Department of State Global Women's Mentoring Partnership

   The Fortune-U.S. Department of State Global Women’s Mentoring Partnership is a public-private partnership that supports women’s economic, social, and political empowerment through leadership workshops and mentoring assignments for up to 25 emerging women global leaders from around the world. These emerging women leaders are mentored by U.S. executive women from Fortune’s Most Powerful Women network for a three week program.

3. Arts Envoy

   The Arts Envoy Program shares the best of the U.S. arts community with the world to foster cross-cultural understanding and collaboration and to demonstrate shared values and aspirations.

4. International Writing Program (IWP) at the University of Iowa

   Writers gather in Iowa City for this 10-week residency to work on personal creative writing projects, to give readings and lectures, and to interact with American audiences and literary communities across the U.S

5. Sports Envoy Program

   Athletes and coaches in various sports are chosen to serve as envoys or ambassadors of sport in overseas programs that include conducting clinics, visiting schools and speaking to youth.

6. Fulbright-Hays Program

   The Fulbright-Hays Program awards grants to individual U.S. K-14 pre-teachers, teachers and administrators, pre-doctoral students and postdoctoral faculty, as well as to U.S. institutions and organizations.

7. Sports Visitor Program

   Young non-elite athletes and coaches chosen by U.S. missions overseas to visit the United States for a fast-paced two week exchange program.

8. Study of the U.S. Institutes for Scholars and Secondary Educators (SUSI Scholars)

   Study of the U.S. Institutes for Scholars are designed to strengthen curricula and improve the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions overseas.

10. Gheorghe Muresan Trains Turkish and American Youth during World Learning Exchange Program

    

    During the second part of the exchange, 12 American participants traveled to Turkey where they practiced learning basketball skills and engaging in leadership development and conflict resolution sessions with former NBA player Gheorghe Muresan.
