   When Reham Al-Eryani applied to the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study program she was motivated by a desire to experience American culture first-hand.

6. October 2023 CBYX U.S. Participant of the Month

   The German Bundestag and U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce Elisabet Saveraid as the October Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) U.S. Participant of the Month! Elisabet, a CBYX Vocational program participant from Saint Paul, Minnesota and recruited by Nacel Open Door, is hosted by the Witziok family in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia.

7. Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders

   The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is the flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI). Since its start in 2014, the program has empowered young people through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking.

   Randy French teaches middle school science in western New York State and recently travelled to Ghana with the Teachers for Global Classrooms program; where he spent a week at the Accra Girls school.
