6. Professional Fellows Program: Building Connections between the Philippines and the U.S.

   

   The Professional Fellows Legislative Process and Governance Program brings emerging leaders from around the world to the United States for intensive fellowships designed to broaden their professional expertise.

7. YSEALI Professional Fellows Program

   Launched in 2013, the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) is the U.S. government’s signature program to strengthen leadership development and networking in Southeast Asia. The YSEALI Professional Fellows Program is a professional development exchange program for the best and brightest community leaders from ASEAN, working in the fields of civic engagement, NGO management, economic empowerment, governance, legislative process, environmental and natural resources management.

8. Kennedy-Lugar YES Program

   

   The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program provides scholarships to high school students.

9. The African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP)

   

   Through the Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), approximately 30 African women entrepreneurs arrive in the United States each year to attend professional development meetings and network with U.S. policy makers, companies, industry associations, nonprofit groups, and multilateral development organizations.
