1. April FLEX April Student of the Month

   We are pleased to announce Laura Gazaryan (pictured left) from Armenia as the FLEX April Student of the Month! She was placed by PAX and is hosted in Portage, Indiana.

2. December 2023 CBYX German Participant of the Month

   We are pleased to announce Aimee Tauscher as the December 2023 CBYX German Participant of the Month!  Aimee, a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) High School program participant placed by CIEE, is hosted by the Laudenslager family in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  

3. Fulbright Foreign Student Works on Oscar-Nominated Film

   Ricardo Marmolejo shares how the Fulbright Foreign Student program helped him fill a gap in his education.

4. Helping to Educate, Engage, and Empower Youth

   Hosted at the University of Connecticut, Grace’s SUSI experience allowed her to examine how business techniques and entrepreneurial skills can be used to address social issues.

5. Discovering the World, and Herself, in Malaysia

   As Hannah took part in unforgettable adventures like a trek through the jungle, she realized that the experience was changing her in ways she’d never expected. She was becoming more patient, more likely to experiment, and less likely to judge others. But most importantly, her need to communicate overcame everything.

6. FLEX Student of the Month – April 2014

   Vera Kalinina, a States’ 4-H FLEX student from Russia, made a major impact on her host community and the state of Oregon through her informative presentations about Russian civil society and culture and volunteer activities.

7. Gheorghe Muresan Trains Turkish and American Youth during World Learning Exchange Program

   

   During the second part of the exchange, 12 American participants traveled to Turkey where they practiced learning basketball skills and engaging in leadership development and conflict resolution sessions with former NBA player Gheorghe Muresan.
