At-a-Glance

The Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program (TGC) is a professional development fellowship for elementary, middle, and high school teachers from the United States to participate in a program aimed at globalizing U.S. classrooms. The fellowship includes an online professional development course, a Global Education Symposium held in Washington, D.C., and a two to three week international field experience.

Program Length

1 year program with 10 week online course, 2 day symposium, and 2-3 week international field experience

Eligibility and Application Overview

Public applications are accepted.
  • A U.S. citizen;
  • Employed full-time at an accredited K-12 school;
  • Able to meet current Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board (FSB) eligibility requirements.
  • Teachers with 5+ years full-time experience teaching experience preferred.
