How Table Hockey is Helping Displaced Children in Ukraine Cope with Stress and PTSD
Through the Break the Ice program, displaced children in Ukraine are playing table hockey to cope with stress and Post Ttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Olga Dolinina was inspired to launch Break the Ice after participating in the U.S. Department of States’ Global Sports Mentoring Program (GSMP).
The GSMP combines mentorship and cultural exchange to empower underserved communities through sports. GSMP is a partnership between the Department of State, The University of Tennessee, and espnW. Learn more about how sports exchanges are changing the world at globalsportsmentoring.org
