Partnering with USA Wrestling, the U.S. State Department brought members of the Mongolian men’s and women’s national freestyle wrestling teams, along with three of their coaches, to New York on November 8, 2011, for a 12-day Sports Visitor program. The Mongolian wrestlers participated in a dual with members of the U.S. national freestyle teams. They also took part in the New York Athletic Club Holiday International Event, a notable annual wrestling competition.
