1. FLEX Student of the Month – March 2015

   Bermet from Kyrgyzstan is a power-house volunteer (with over 200 hours of community service) and an active ambassador for Kyrgyz culture.

   Jennet, a Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) student from Turkmenistan, has won over her entire community and school with her enthusiasm, hard work and dedication.

3. FLEX Student of the Month –April 2016

   Davit, a States’ 4-H placed Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) student from Georgia, always has a positive attitude and smile for everyone around him. He is eager to learn and proudly represents his home country.

4. Exchange Student Aspires to New Heights

   On a chilly October day, Azima found herself dangling on a harness, higher than a house, supported by a group of people gripping ropes below. "And then they let go!"

5. Creating Change for the Disabled

   Yerasyl Toleugazimov, a citizen of Kazakhstan, spent his junior year of high school in Lacey and summarized his experience saying, "I learned new things that changed me."

6. FLEX Student of the Month – March 2014

   Gulnar Resulkulyyeva, a World Link FLEX student from Turkmenistan, is a proven leader and dynamic FLEX ambassador. In addition to her over 200 hours of community service thus far, Gulnar is a member of the Key Club, Green Club, and Spanish Club and recently earned a spot on the varsity track team.

7. FLEX Student of the Month – October 2014

   In addition to joining six clubs since the start of the school year, Kamila has volunteered over 50 hours in her host community, calling helping people the "main goal" in her life.

8. FLEX Student of the Month – January 2015

   In addition to being a stellar student and volunteer, Dana from Kazakhstan has shown her commitment to sharing her culture by giving 20 presentations since her arrival.

9. FLEX Student of the Month – December 2015

   Georgian high schooler Manana is an excellent student, a dedicated volunteer at the local senior living home, a member of several school clubs, and an enthusiastic ambassador for her country's language and culture.
