   Through short-term visits to the United States, current and emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields experience this country firsthand and cultivate lasting relationships with their American counterparts.

   The Fulbright Arctic Initiative supports a team of scholars and researchers from the Arctic Council member countries to research and assess the impact of change in the Arctic and engage in collaborative thinking, analysis and problem solving.

10. Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA)

    The Fulbright FLTA Program provides young teachers of English as a Foreign Language the opportunity to refine their teaching skills and broaden their knowledge of American cultures and customs while strengthening the instruction of foreign languages at colleges and universities in the United States.
