1. FLEX Student of the Month – May 2014

   Zhyldyz Omursakova, a World Learning FLEX student from Kyrgyzstan, volunteered over 120 hours of community service this year and regularly volunteered at the Liberty Senior Care Facility, spending time with the elderly residents and organizing fun events such as a Mardi Gras party.

2. FLEX Student of the Month – January 2016

   Ukrainian high school student Viktoriya stands out among other exchange students due to her racking up over 300 community service hours by cleaning city parks, raising money for local charities, a Christmas giving project, and supporting local police officers.

3. FLEX Student of the Month – January 2017

   Yurik has amassed 145 hours of community service to date with activities that include stocking shelves for the food pantry, cleaning a women’s shelter, collecting recycling with the Civic Club, and assisting the Kiwanis Club at Trivia nights.

4. FLEX Student of the Month – January 2019

   We are pleased to announce Lida Asilyan from Armenia as the FLEX January Student of the Month! She is placed by World Link.

5. FLEX Student of the Month - February 2023

   We are pleased to announce Serdar Makhmudov from Uzbekistan as the FLEX February Student of the Month! He was placed by World Link and is hosted in Lemoore, California.

   Narek proudly shares his Armenian culture with his host community as well as volunteering as a sign language tutor and with the local library.
