Arabesque Brings Vietnamese Culture to Life

video

[Nguyen Tan Loc, Artistic Director & Founder, Arabesque]: In our piece to bring here is about Vietnamese traditional farmers. It’s kind of a symbol of the hard work and it brings to life beautiful things and most people don’t recognize that.

[Ngo Thuy To Nhu, Dancer & Co-founder, Arabesque and Pham Mai Thao, Dancer, Arabesque (speaking Vietnamese)]: With “The Mist’ we wish to bring the American audience a beautiful glimpse of Vietnamese rural life with the rustic farmer.

[Vu Ngoc Khai, Dancer & Choreographer, Arabesque (speaking Vietnamese)]: The most exciting thing for me is that we have the honor to share Vietnamese culture and emotion and I think that is a wonderful thing to an artist.

[Nguyen Tan Loc]: So we know more about people here and people here know more about us. We have more contacts with each other and we could probably establish a new bridge, new bridges later. In order to have a collaboration between Vietnamese  dancers and American dancers.
