YSEALI Academic Fellows Program

The YSEALI Academic Fellows Program is part of the wider Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI), which is designed to strengthen leadership development across ASEAN, deepen engagement with young leaders on key regional and global challenges, and strengthen people-to-people ties between the United States and Southeast Asia. Each year, the YSEALI Academic Fellows Program brings exceptional young ASEAN leaders to the United States to further develop their professional and leadership skills. Participants design and implement group projects to be completed upon returning to their home countries. Applications are accepted annually for cohorts in the spring and fall.

The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program provides 10 months of professional enrichment and non-degree graduate-level study in the United States for accomplished mid-level professionals.

Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program

The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program provides grants to approximately 850 foreign scholars from over 100 countries to conduct post-doctoral research at U.S. institutions from an academic semester to a full academic year.
