Vladilena has already completed an impressive 45 hours of community service. She served food at an event to raise money for scholarships. By painting school logos on driveways, she brought school spirit to life while supporting the booster club. She took part in celebrating American values by helping with flag displays for Labor Day. She spent an entire day running the merchandise table during the International Food and Music Festival and sold tickets at the Latino Heritage Festival. Her passion for giving back continued with multiple volunteer shifts at the Earlham Library and helping create over 300 inspirational cards for children in need.
Beyond her volunteering efforts, Vladilena has been eager to share her culture. After one presentation, she shared Moldovan souvenirs, traditions, and sweets with her audience. She proudly represented Moldova in the homecoming parade, playing traditional songs from a truck decorated with flags and a sign cheering on the home team in her native language. She also baked Moldovan desserts for her teachers as part of World Link’s Kindness Cookies Project.
Her local coordinator expressed, “I’m impressed with her drive and positivity and time management to get it all done!”
Congratulations Vladilena!
