2. October U.S. Participant of the Month!

   The German Bundestag and U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce Maddison Schwentner as the October Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) U.S. Participant of the Month!  Maddison, a CBYX high school program participant from Lake Jackson, Texas and recruited by CIEE, is hosted by the Bettina family in Frei-Laubersheim, Rhineland-Palatinate.

3. FLEX Student of the Month - February 2023

   We are pleased to announce Serdar Makhmudov from Uzbekistan as the FLEX February Student of the Month! He was placed by World Link and is hosted in Lemoore, California.

4. May 2023 CBYX German Participant of the Month

   We are pleased to announce Sarah Stock as the May 2023 CBYX German Participant of the Month!  Sarah, a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) High School participant placed by YFU, is hosted by Katherine Phillips in Fort Gratiot, Michigan.

5. January 2024 CBYX German Participant of the Month

   We are pleased to announce Samiya Id-Lefqih as the January 2024 CBYX German Participant of the Month!  Samiya, a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) High School program participant placed by AFS, is hosted by the Warren family in Bothell, Washington.

   We are pleased to announce Maximilian Angert as the April 2024 Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) German Participant of the Month!

7. FLEX May Student of the Month - 2024

   Julia Trzepizur has been selected as the FLEX program’s Student of the Month for May 2024.

8. Reading Connects Communities in the U.S. and Macedonia

   As a Fulbrighter Jennifer lived in Macedonia from September 2011 to July 2012-- helping to teach English and American culture in a number of classes at South East European University in Tetovo, as well as developing two of her own courses. In her spare time, Jennifer started an English club, in partnership with Read Across America, at the American Corner in Tetovo for young Macedonians.

9. Fulbright U.S. Student Connects With At-Risk Youth in Rio de Janeiro Through Boxing

   In Rio de Janeiro, Nicholas studied Sociology at Pontifica Universidad Catholica Do Rio De Janerio (PUC-Río) during the day and spent his evenings at the gym, volunteering with children, learning and experiencing the different cultures in Brazil from the classrooms to the inner city.

10. From the West Bank to the United States: An Unexpected Path to an MBA

    After completing her bachelor’s degree in medical lab sciences at the American University of Beirut, Sanioura worked in marketing for a medical firm while she applied for graduate programs and fellowships. It was during this time that she first fell in love with business.
