1. FLEX Student of the Month – February 2015

   Anastasiya's positive attitude, passion for volunteering, 4.0 GPA, and involvement in many clubs earns her the Future Leader Exchange program student of the month honor.

2. FLEX Student of the Month – March 2015

   Bermet from Kyrgyzstan is a power-house volunteer (with over 200 hours of community service) and an active ambassador for Kyrgyz culture.

3. December 2015 - American Abroad Student of the Month

   Georgia native Maxwell Meyers fully embraced the YES Abroad program's ideals by going above and beyond to learn about his host country Macedonia and share his American culture through presentations at a local high school and volunteering with a living library project, among many other activities.

4. FLEX Student of the Month – November 2015

   Kazakh high schooler Symbat clocked over 100 hours of community service during her exchange, maintains a high GPA on the honor roll, joined the school band, and plays on the basketball team.

5. FLEX Student of the Month – January 2016

   Ukrainian high school student Viktoriya stands out among other exchange students due to her racking up over 300 community service hours by cleaning city parks, raising money for local charities, a Christmas giving project, and supporting local police officers.

6. A-SMYLE Student of the Month – December 2015

   Zerina from Montenegro excels in her academics and as an active volunteer in her Wichita Falls, Texas community.

7. A-SMYLE Student of the Month – March 2016

   In addition to a full academic and volunteering schedule, Nikola lead the planning and organizing efforts for a benefit concert at his host school to raise money for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

8. American Abroad Student of the Month - April 2016

   Elizabeth has become deeply connected with her host family and community in Ghana and has a keen interest in making traditional Batik fabric and learning traditional sewing techniques.
