3. Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange

   The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) program provides year-long academic, homestay, and community service opportunities for American and German high school students, vocational school graduates, and young professionals.

4. Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Abroad

   The new FLEX Abroad program provides merit-based scholarships for eligible high school students to attend a local school in Kazakhstan, Poland, or Ukraine for an academic year.

5. Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange & Study (YES) Abroad - Program Details

   American high school students in YES Abroad program spend one academic semester or year living with a host family and attending high school abroad.

6. Future Leaders Exchange - Program Details

   The Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program provides scholarships for high school students (ages 15-17) from Europe and Eurasia to spend an academic year in the United States, living with a family and attending an American high school.

7. English Access Program

   The English Access Microscholarship Program (Access) provides a foundation of English language skills to bright, economically disadvantaged students, primarily between the ages of 13 to 20, in their home countries.

   The Study of the U.S. Institutes promote a better understanding of the people, institutions, and culture of the United States among foreign students, teachers, and scholars. Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) are short-term academic programs for groups of undergraduate leaders, educators, and scholars from around the world.
