   Valentin, an American Serbia and Montenegro Youth Leadership Exchange student from Serbia, has made a great impression on his host family, school, and community.

   Anna Terekhova, a World Link student from Russia, is an active volunteer and cultural ambassador in her host community.

   We are pleased to announce Mara Treder as the November 2022 CBYX German Participant of the Month!!

5. Architectural Conservation in Service to Others

   With more than 100 brick and stone shrines and seven large stone terraces, Phnom Bakheng is a major architectural monument.

6. December 2021 FLEX Student of the Month

   We are pleased to announce Shamurat (Shon) Raimbekov from Kyrgyzstan as the FLEX December Student of the Month! He is placed by ASSE and hosted in Belmont, Michigan.

7. October 2024 CBYX German Participant of the Month

   We are pleased to announce Elissa Ben Salem as the October 2024 Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) German Participant of the Month!  Elissa, a CBYX high school program participant placed by CIEE, is hosted by the Benski family in Meridian, Idaho.

8. Shaping the Future of the Kyrgyz Republic

   

   Nadia Pak, an alumna from the Kyrgyz Republic, is working with other FLEX alumni to mobilize Kyrgyzstani youth to be more active citizens.

9. FLEX Student of the Month — January 2014

   Tsiala Khomasuridze, a World Link student from Georgia, is committed to volunteering as well as sharing her Georgian culture and traditions with her host community, school, family, and friends.

10. Learning the American Way

    Embracing the tenets of the A-SMYLE program – education, exchange, engagement, and empowerment – Danijela participated in youth leadership conferences that gave her the confidence to meet new people. She credits them and her program coordinator for their support.
