   A recent Museums Connect exchange brought students and museum professionals from Mongolia together with contemporaries in the U.S. to gain deeper understanding of climate change around the world.

4. March 2023 CBYX German Participant of the Month

   We are pleased to announce Annika Wendel as the March 2023 CBYX German Participant of the Month! Annika, a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) Young Professionals participant placed by Cultural Vistas, is hosted in Emporia, Kansas.

   Peggy Rivas, an International Visitor from Venezuela, tells us why she is a woman empowered.

6. FLEX Student of the Month — December 2013

   Tatia Rtveladze, an ASSE student from Georgia and active volunteer in her host community, gave nine presentations, including performances of Georgian folk dances, during International Educational Week (IEW).

7. FLEX Student of the Month — September 2013

   Turan Jabbarli, a CIEE student from Azerbaijan, volunteers at the local library, tutors elementary students in math, and is a leader among other exchange students.

8. FLEX Student of the Month – February 2014

   Gavharkhon is not only an excellent student but a talented singer as well, participating in her school choir and singing in local community events in Tajik and in English.

9. FLEX Student of the Month – January 2016

   Ukrainian high school student Viktoriya stands out among other exchange students due to her racking up over 300 community service hours by cleaning city parks, raising money for local charities, a Christmas giving project, and supporting local police officers.

10. FLEX Student of the Month –April 2016

    Davit, a States’ 4-H placed Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) student from Georgia, always has a positive attitude and smile for everyone around him. He is eager to learn and proudly represents his home country.
