1. A-SMYLE Student of the Month – April 2015

   Tijana Nikic, an American Councils-placed American Serbia and Montenegro Youth Leadership Exchange (A-SMYLE) student from Serbia, excelled academically at her host school with a 4.8 GPA and made both the Honor Roll and Headmaster’s List while tutoring other students, volunteering at the public library, and participating in the Debate Team.

2. December 2015 - American Abroad Student of the Month

   Georgia native Maxwell Meyers fully embraced the YES Abroad program's ideals by going above and beyond to learn about his host country Macedonia and share his American culture through presentations at a local high school and volunteering with a living library project, among many other activities.
