Gain a Competitive Edge: Learn Hindi in India!

video

[speaking in Hindi] नमस्ते मेरा नाम अन्ना है .

or Hello, my name is Anna.

I participated on CLS Hindi in India 2012 and 2013.

The Critical Language Scholarship is a fully

funded U.S. Department of State program

and allows students from all over the U.S.,

graduate and undergrad,

to intently study languages and immerse themselves in culture in their host country.

Starting the Critical Language Scholarship, I started as a mid-novice or mid-beginner.

And then I came out with my final scores as advanced low.

Studying Hindi in India was important for me

academically and professionally. It oriented with my research goals

And it was also, it also set me apart

from other students, either in my academic cohort or that I

then went on to compete with jobs for

because it gave me skill set and

knowledge ever region that is really

relevant today.

So now as a professional in the field of international education

I really inspire and motivate and help

students who are interested in India

It's really helpful to have that local

knowledge

have knowledge of the language for cross-cultural communication and exchange.
