The Rhythm Road: Music Olympics

For me, and I think I can speak for all of us, it really is an honor to represent the United States and I feel like, when you look at the magnitude of the auditions on this program, I think upwards around 200 bands applied for this program and they only select 10.

So, for me, that's a gold medal and I look at it as...I look at this whole thing, it's like the Olympics music Olympics. The only thing that's missing is the medals. You're representing your country. For me, that's really truly an honor.

The State Department and Jazz at Lincoln Center is really helping to bring that to fruition. I think it's a fantastic program.
