Yelyzaveta also founded a Ukrainian club, started a project where students donate English books to be sent to her school in Ukraine to aid in teaching English, and is developing a website to connect the students by sharing artwork and posters. In addition to her active school schedule, Yelyzaveta volunteered 30 hours of her in November for several projects including as a teaching assistant in her host school food science classroom, helping with the "Christmas Child Project" at church, and volunteering with the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) club. Yelyzaveta exhibits admirable leadership skills and is a true ambassador of exchange.
