1. FLEX Student of the Month - October 2017

   Matthew, a PAX (Program of Academic Exchange)-placed Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) student from Lithuania, hit the ground running when he arrived in Houston, Texas in September.

2. Building a Future Through Technology

   Sura Mubarak is a true TechGirl—developing a robotics project to help people with hand disabilities control a computer and starting a volunteering organization. Sura knew that in order to pursue her love of robotics, a trip to the United States was in her future.

3. Ukrainian Youth Gains His Confidence in Iowa

   The FLEX program provided Ukrainian high schooler Vadym Bilous with an opportunity to boost his confidence by stepping outside his comfort zone and being exposed to new experiences.

4. FLEX Student of the Month – November 2014

   Georgian exchange student Geno plays in the Jazz Band, on the varsity soccer team, and volunteers in his Fort Worth, Texas host community, while teaching his classmates about his home country and culture.

8. Dr. Jill Biden Joins TechWomen Mentors and Leaders to Hear Their Mentoring Stories

   Dr. Jill Biden, second lady of the United States, believes in the power of mentoring and in the power of the TechWomen program. "I love the idea of women helping other women to succeed and to soar,” she said.
