1. FLEX Student of the Month — December 2013

   Tatia Rtveladze, an ASSE student from Georgia and active volunteer in her host community, gave nine presentations, including performances of Georgian folk dances, during International Educational Week (IEW).

2. FLEX Student of the Month – September 2015

   Narek proudly shares his Armenian culture with his host community as well as volunteering as a sign language tutor and with the local library.

4. January 2024 CBYX U.S. Participant of the Month

   The German Bundestag and U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce Emma Kowalczyk as the January Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) U.S. Participant of the Month!  Emma, a CBYX High School program participant from Pierz, Minnesota and recruited by CIEE, is hosted by the Rahmann family in Coesfeld, North Rhine Westphalia.

   The German Bundestag and U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce JJ Moore as the March Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) U.S. Participant of the Month!

6. American Abroad Student of the Month - January 2017

   Cricket's generous and affable nature has made her a beloved member of her host community in Senegal.

   Each year, the U.S. State Department hosts approximately 2,900 high school students from around the world.

8. A-SMYLE Student of the Month — September 2013

   Jelica, a World Link student from Serbia, is taking full advantage of the opportunities offered at her host school and in her host community.

   Serbian high schooler Minja plays an active role in her host school, participating in many clubs and activities in addition to maintaining straight A's.
