   The German Bundestag and U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce Lucy Brumfiel as the April Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) U.S. Participant of the Month!  Lucy, a CBYX High School program participant from Norwood, CO and recruited by CIEE, is hosted by the Kögel family in Dinklage, Niedersachsen.

Jose, a CBYX High School program participant from Laredo, Texas and recruited by CIEE, is hosted by the Schmittner Family in Wiehl, North-Rhine Westphalia.

5. Fulbright Travel-Only Grants - Program Details

   Grants for international travel are available to Germany, Hungary and Italy to supplement other fellowships that do not include travel costs or to supplement a student's own funds for study/research.

6. A-SMYLE Student of the Month — October 2012

   Valentin, an American Serbia and Montenegro Youth Leadership Exchange student from Serbia, has made a great impression on his host family, school, and community.

7. A-SMYLE Student of the Month — December 2013

   During International Education Week (IEW) Jelena gave 11 presentations about her home country of Serbia to over 230 elementary, middle, and high school students in her host school and community.
